My Transformation Journey

It all started in 2018 when I was going through my self-realization phase and questioning things about life,its purpose and all that deep stuff ☺
I was living in Jersey city, NJ at that time, commuting to the city for work and doing the hustle like most around me. I was living in a beautiful apartment on the waterfront but was unhappy and going through bunch of personal things which brought me to the core of a question, “Why”?

One very vivid memory that will always stay with me is standing at the World Trade Center station and watching everyone busy in their thoughts with headphones on and walking at a fast pace. But I stood still and asked myself; Why am I doing this if I’m not happy and the ultimate answer I got was “Then don’t do it”.

My next question was, “if not this then what”? That got me thinking as to what I would want to do that would make me happy if money and time wasn’t an issue. The first thing that came to mind was “Look and feel the best version of myself physically and mentally” and that’s when my mind started creating ideas on what that lifestyle would look like. 

I decided to take a break from work and even though working in the corporate world had its perks, I needed to first focus on myself. That’s how my journey to embody a healthy lifestyle started. 

Now it’s 2024 and about 5 years and a whole pandemic later a lot of things have changed like me moving to San Diego and going to school again but one thing that has stayed constant is my “why”. And my weight too (+/- 5 lbs) ☺

Remember, your ‘why’ might be different than mine but don’t be afraid to question and play with it a little.
